Trade One: 40 SPX 5,970/5,965 Put Credit Spreads (Piper Strategy)
Today was not a good trading day for me. I kept fighting the price action trend, and it made things extremely difficult for me. After Piper fired off a bullish signal, I sold puts. The PCS's were first sold at $0.40/ea. Before I knew it, the position was taking serious heat. On the first sign of a potential bounce, I doubled down (new avg. $0.88/ea). The idea was to increase my average and then dump half to cut my risk. To my surprise, the plan kind of worked. The first half was bought back at $0.75/ea and the other half was closed at $0.50/ea -- This means my REALIZED GAIN WAS $1,020!

SPY missed & QQQ hit
The Trump-China-Trade announcement from the NYT knocked me out of my position. The CCS's were sold at $1.80/ea and I was forced to buy them backl at $4.40 -- This means my realized loss was $3,120 :(
The hedge did exactly what hedge plays are meant to do. It balanced me out! These PCS's were sold at $0.85/ea and expired worthless -- THIS MEANS MY REALIZED GAIN WAS $2,975!
