Trade One: 15 SPX 5435/5440 Call Credit Spreads (Piper Trade Strategy)
I attempted to catch the morning trend, but it zigged when I thought it would zag. I cut as soon as the price action broke my risk point. The spread was created by selling at $1.60/ea and was closed out when I bought back at $2.40/ea -- This means my realized loss was $1,200. Even though this was a losing trade, it was a good trade. I was disciplined and perfectly stuck to my trading strategy.
Trade Two: 20 SPX 5415/5410 Put Credit Spreads (Piper Trade Strategy)
Trade 2 was another good trade because I perfectly followed my system, but this time around it was also profitable. The spread was created by selling at $1.25/ea. Due to the size, I figured it would be best to scale out. I locked in gains at $0.40/ea, $0.30/ea, $0.20/ea & $0.10/ea -- This means my REALIZED GAIN WAS $2,000.
Trade One Return: -$1,200
Trade Two Return: $2,000
Total Return: $800 (before fees)
