Riding To The Moon
Hey,
Key Weekly Performance Stats:
- S&P 500: +1.67%
- Nasdaq 100: +1.86%
- Russel 2000: +4.50%
- Bitcoin: +8.75%
The stock market climbed higher last week, being supported by strong earnings and optimism over a cautious Fed approach to interest rates. Tech stocks, led by Nvidia, drove much of the (initial) momentum, while stable oil prices bolstered energy sector performance. It should also be noted that recent gains in Bitcoin have prompted a hyper-euphoric state in the world of crypto.
Looking ahead, we should focus on consumer sentiment, jobless claims, and manufacturing data, alongside Fed commentary. Earnings season is effectively over, which means policy decisions and macroeconomic reports will be in the driver seat. If you happen to be an options trader, please don't forget that this upcoming week is short one due to the holiday. As always, respect your risk and stick to your plan. Godspeed.
Best,
Thicc Kohrs
