Day #12 of Comeback Tour!
I was incredibly lucky today. My original play was an SPX Put Credit Spread -- I was betting that SPX would be above 5190. This went wrong fast and hard. Normally, I would protect myself by turning this into an Iron Butterfly. That didn't happen today because the market moved way too fast. You can see the insanity on today's stream if you'd like. I decided to try to dig myself out of the hole by buying back my short leg and riding the protective long leg down. It's definitely degenerate, but not completely insane. I did instantly drop 7 of 10 at breakeven because I knew I was being greedy. Overall, I made a risky bet, but it paid off -- I lived to fight another day.
