Today was not the easiest day for me by any means. I got into my initial position (Trade One) early in the day. I felt good about the trade until lunch. My unrealized gains quickly turned into losses. I was forced into praying the 2-Year bond auction would break in my favor. Fortunately, it got lucky. After hearing the auction went well, I doubled down on my position to increase my average price to $2.78/ea from $2.45/ea. This had the effect of increasing my overall risk, but it also increased my chances of profit. When the market continues to trend in my favor, I decided to be less degenerate and sold half at $2.50 (+$560). Now that I was able to be a bit calmer, I could see the market in a lucid manner. I secured the next 10 at $1.00/ea (+$1,780) and the final 10 at $0.50/ea ($2,280). This means I had a REALIZED GAIN OF +$4,620 (+42%).
Total Return: +$4,620 (before fees)
