Trade One: 10 x SPX 5595/5600 Call Credit Spread (Scalp Strategy Trade)
The idea of Trade One was to play the rejection off of the all-time high. In a certain sense, it was also backed by the concept of the market commonly favoring a move to its previous day's close. I thought I was being smart by utilizing tomorrow's expiration date -- I wasn't. Even though underlying market moved in my favor, the spread only decayed slightly. When the market started to turn, I thought it was prudent risk management to get out at break even. I sold 10 at $2.40/ea and bought them all back at $2.35/ea -- This means my realized gain was $50.
Trade Two: 10 x SPX 5595/5590 Put Credit Spread (Scalp Strategy Trade)
After pulling the ripcord on first trade, I instantly flipped my bias to bullish and targeted the 0 DTE expiration. Trade Two went very smoothly. I sold 10 at $2.50/ea and bought them all back at $1.75/ea -- This means my realized gain was $750.

Trade Two Return: +$750 (before fees)
Total Return: +$800 (before fees)

SPY missed & QQQ hit
The Trump-China-Trade announcement from the NYT knocked me out of my position. The CCS's were sold at $1.80/ea and I was forced to buy them backl at $4.40 -- This means my realized loss was $3,120 :(
The hedge did exactly what hedge plays are meant to do. It balanced me out! These PCS's were sold at $0.85/ea and expired worthless -- THIS MEANS MY REALIZED GAIN WAS $2,975!
