Trade One: 40 x SPX 5555/5550 Put Credit Spread (Scalp Strategy Trade)
Well, I didn't start the day off on a good note. I was oversized and overstayed my welcome. As shown below, I was able to fix it, but this was a poorly executed trade on all accounts. My average entry was $1.80/ea, and my average exit was $4.90 -- This means my realized loss was $12,400.
Trade Two: 20 x SPX 5470 Puts (Yolo Degen Gamble)
Was I angry? Yes. Was I on tilt? Yes. Was I revenge trading? Yes. But guess what, it worked! I rarely take purely directional bets, but today was one of those day. Fortunately, it paid big! The first portion locked in $14,600, the second was worth $12,300, and the final portion secured an extra $13,550 -- This means MY REALIZED GAIN WAS $40,450!
Trade One Return: -$12,400
Trade Two Return: +$40,450
Total Return: +$28,050 (before fees)
