Trade One: 5 SPX 5315 Calls (Scalp Trade Strategy)
This trade was a run-of-the-mill scalp trade. The market had strength at open. The cumulative options delta pushed higher, so I took a bullish position. The average entry was $17.90, and the average exit was $21.10 -- This mean my REALIZED GAIN WAS $1,600.
Trade Two: 12 SPX 5400 Calls (Swing Trade Strategy)
Trade Two was simply an exit from yesterday's swing trade. The market started to show some weakness, and I didn't think was smart to take the risk. The average entry was $22.50, and the average exit was $24.30 -- This mean my REALIZED GAIN WAS $2,160.
Trade Three: 8 SPX 5330 Calls (Scalp Trade Strategy)
This particular trade got a little out of hand. I played it a little too big and held it a little too long. I don't have an issue with the initial entry, but you could easily argue I was fighting the trend by the time I finally took the loss. The average entry was $14.83, and the average exit was $3.80 -- This mean my realized loss was $8,824.
Trade Four: 5 SPX 5270 Puts (Momentum Trade Strategy)
This was my best trade of the day and of the week. After punting the previous trash trade, I waited for the trend to be confirmed. Additionally, I also was patient enough to wait for a low-risk entry point. When the trade broke in my favor, I locked in a portion and let the rest ride while having a protective stop loss order set at breakeven. The average entry was $31.30, and the average exit was $65.00 -- This mean my REALIZED GAIN WAS $16,850.
Trade One Return: +$1,600
Trade Two Return: +$2,160
Trade Three Return: -$8,824
Trade Four Return: +$16,850
Total Return: $11,786 (before fees)
