To be honest, I wasn't following any reasonable system. I was too biased to the bearish viewpoint and saw things that were there. I wasn't letting price action dictate my decisions, and it clearly cost me. My average entry was $22.46, and my average exit was $16.80 -- This mean my realized loss was $2,830.
Trade Two: 2 NDX 18400 Calls (Scalp Trade Strategy)
Trade Two was much more logical. I finally decided having a bias based on silly information was pointless. I reverted to my classic trade with the trend mantra. I took advantage of a low-risk setup, and it paid! My average entry was $129, and my average exit was $156.25 -- This mean my REALIZED GAIN WAS $5,450.
Trade One Return: -$2,830
Trade Two Return: +$5,450
Total Return: $2,620 (before fees)

SPY missed & QQQ hit
The Trump-China-Trade announcement from the NYT knocked me out of my position. The CCS's were sold at $1.80/ea and I was forced to buy them backl at $4.40 -- This means my realized loss was $3,120 :(
The hedge did exactly what hedge plays are meant to do. It balanced me out! These PCS's were sold at $0.85/ea and expired worthless -- THIS MEANS MY REALIZED GAIN WAS $2,975!
